Safety Management System

The design and implementation of Base Marines Safety Training and Environmental Management System (STEMS) has been influenced by Base Marines particular business environment and risks associated with that environment. All of our management systems are independently accredited to ISO/AS standards and we hold certifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 . In addition, the system has been structured to support the varying needs of the business, its particular objectives, the services it provides, the processes it employs and its size and organisational structure. Base Marine Quality Management Plan establishes and states the general policies and procedures governing Base Marine’s Quality Management System. Environmental Management System

The Base Marine Environmental Management Plan (EMP) provides detailed guidelines on our environmental management practices under which we operate to ensure we maintain a high level of environmental compliance.

Base Marine’s STEMS system incorporates the environmental management aspects of our business, along with performance monitoring of these systems.

This has led to the formulation of a comprehensive environmental risk assessment being conducted and maintained as required by ISO 14001 standards.
